The 2013 PSP Southampton Boat Show will see the world launches of three exciting new models from Princess Yachts International plc. The all new Princess 88 Motor Yacht will make her international debut alongside the new Princess V48, the first ever Princess IPS craft, and the exciting new Princess 43.

The new Princess 88 Motor Yacht features an all-new infused long range hull – the latest Princess hybrid hull shape developed through efficiency lessons learned from the World Superyacht Award winning Princess 40M. This unique deep-V hull design utilises the very latest resin infusion technology so her performance and handling are both impeccable and efficient.

The layout of the exterior spaces offers wonderful flexibility for enjoying life on deck and on the main deck, a powered balcony can be specified which folds neatly from the starboard side deck, connecting the saloon with a secluded anchorage through sliding glass doors.

Below decks, owners can specify four or five en-suite cabins. A beautifully appointed forward VIP stateroom, starboard double and twin port cabin are accompanied by either a full beam owner’s stateroom or two further en-suite double cabins amidships. Crew are accommodated aft of the machinery space where there are substantial quarters comprising of a captains double cabin, a twin cabin and a crew mess area. This can be alternatively arranged to accommodate three crew cabins if required.

Another exciting addition to the Princess Flybridge range is the new Princess 43. The 43 offers the ultimate in performance, efficiency, comfort and elegance as well as impeccable seakeeping and handling.

The intelligent design of the exterior spaces offers ample scope for outdoor entertaining including an impressive flybridge with an alfresco dining area as well as flexible seating forward which converts into a sunbed and additional seating around a folding teak table in the cockpit. The flybridge can also be specified with a wetbar with electric barbeque if desired.

Twin transom doors lead to the bathing platform, which can be optionally specified with an electro-hydraulic raise/lower mechanism aiding the launch and recovery of the tender or transforming the area into a submersible beach.

Sliding glass doors lead from the large cockpit to the generously proportioned, contemporary saloon. Benefiting from advances made on larger craft in the range, the new 43 features large windows in the style seen on the new Princess 52 which fill the main deck with natural light and ensure wonderful views and excellent visibility for the lower helm. The latest infused structures first seen on the class-beating Princess V39 also feature on the new 43 to create greater volume for the beautifully styled interior.

The 43 offers flexible accommodation for up to six guests with two well appointed en-suite cabins, including a beautifully finished owner’s cabin and twin guest cabin which can be optionally specified with electrically powered sliding berths to convert to a double bed, and saloon seating which can be converted to a double berth for occasional guests.

Sleek, dynamic and exceptionally spacious, the new Princess V48 is a highly versatile sports yacht delivering excitement and comfort in equal measure. Her light-weight, resin infused hull is designed to quicken the transition to plane and so improve efficiency while providing a performance that is both assured and exhilarating and she is equally competent at low speeds too with the latest Volvo IPS engines and drive system making even the tightest of marina manoeuvres a simple operation.

The main deck features a spacious enclosed saloon which can be swiftly transformed via a large powered roof and triple sliding doors that connect to the aft cockpit to create one large alfresco area. Deep teak steps either side of the cockpit lead through transom gates to the bathing platform which is large enough to stow a 3.5m tender and can be fitted with a raise/lower mechanism making water sports easily accessible.

Below decks the lower saloon provides a more intimate haven in which to relax and is ideally located adjacent to the galley which has been equipped to provide everything needed for an extended stay on board. Two large en-suite cabins provide sumptuous accommodation with a vast and exceptionally light owner’s stateroom amidships and a forward guest cabin with the option of a ‘scissor berth’ system to create a double or twin beds as required.
